Oh how my heart, mind, and soul needed to see this today. To read. To sit. To think…try as I may. Try as I might. What I know already, yet seem to grasp at and try one more time…I am not in control. I will never be in control. I can never because…HE IS!
I am to follow. I am to listen. I am to obey. I am to trust…trust that HE IS and those who diligently seek Him, those people, those children of God, they…please Him in their faith to choose, they please Him, they are rewarded because they believe that HE IS (Hebrews 11:6).
Now if that doesn’t give you goosebumps…if only we believed.
Maybe today you have been struggling to ‘keep it all together’ and you are exhausted, frustrated, just simply worn out. I hear ya. Just as I need these words, so do you…
…stop running ‘it’ and follow Him.
I am coming to the conclusion that it takes more work to try to be in control than to allow Him to be in control…because we are fighting a losing battle. He already won! He already called us victorious IN HIM. So we need to stop running ‘it’ and follow.
