Wonderment & Ugliness

  • The wonder of it all is that Jesus died for me and for you! His love had no boundary then nor does it today. His love is unchangeable. His love is the pinnacle, example of what true love is. His love for mankind: to restore fellowship between man (creation) and Himself (Creator).
  • This is only the beginning. We can never experience God fully until we untaintedly see how disgusting, filthy and repulsing our sin is to thee righteous and holy God — my sin separates me from God! It is not God’s lack of love or kindness, but my sin.
  • When we begin to understand how incredibly ugly our sin is we start to fathom the depths of our salvation through Jesus Christ. We begin to have sight into how deeply we need God, His salvation. Our eyes are opened to our incredible need for salvation through Jesus Christ and we ask (https://inchristiamshe.com/eternity/).
  • “No one can truly know the unimaginable wonder of salvation until they have truly felt the unbearable weight of their sin.”
  • Stand in awe and wonder! Live fully in Jesus Christ (John 10:10). Salvation is only the beginning of the journey!
  • Have you thanked Him?

Special thank you to Joe Henson III for allowing me to use his quote! May the Lord bless you!

Who is God to You?

  • We hear.
  • We see.
  • We experience.
  • We choose.
  • We decide.
  • We deny.
  • We accept.
  • We….

Maybe, just maybe, if we chose to put ourself aside for just one moment to stop presupposing we knew who or what God is, but rather came before Him & His Word with simple child-like-wide-open unbias eye, untainted heart, and unskewed minds….maybe, just maybe, we would grasp His understanding of who and what HE IS for who and what HE SAYS HE IS, not what we think He is.

It would be then, that we would begin to understand the attributes of God. It would be then, that we would begin to hear, to see, to experience, to choose, to decide, to deny, to accept, to know God for God…prehaps like the very first time you met.

  • Revelation 2:4-5

Thank you Lord for this encouragement, hope, strength, renewal, and empowerment. Thank you for being for us, with us, and indwelling us. Praise ye the LORD! PRAISE THE LORD! Praise, praise ye the LORD!

    it’s that simple

    quotes_creator_20170218_120756

It is really that simple. We can argue all we want. Debate. Strategize. Ignore. Complain. Scientifically seek answers. Survey. Seek to change government for or against. But in the scope of eternity, it changes nothing.

We are the creation. We have a Creator. It is impossible for what is fact to change no matter what anyone does or says.

God is God. He is the Creator. Everything is the created.

There is one response to this knowledge: REJECT or ACCEPT.

    It is that simple.

Rejection: I choose me! Thus resulting in pretending to live this life as though I were in control and never seeing the fullness of life. Never!

Acceptance: I choose God! Thus resulting in placing this life I have been given back into the hands that created it to begin with. For the Creator knows his creations best.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

Psalm 16:11 “You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.”

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

James 1:17 “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.”

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
