I have a few friends that I love dearly that are deeply embedded on my heart to pray for daily who struggle with some sort of chronic pain or illness.
Some, over the years have truly been mind blowing examples of Christ-likeness in the midst of their life long storms; reminding me of Paul, of Christ, reminding me that I have nothing to complain about and a grumbling spirit is never an excuse (Phil. 2:14-16).
I came across this writing (below) and it helped me to understand my sweet friends a bit better (Gal. 6:2), but it also rebuke me in how I need to redeem my time because it is a gift (Eph. 5:16), and I have no excuse in its waste before my Lord!
- May we grow in putting on Christ-likeness.
- May we grow in Christ-love for one another and our Savior.
