I just wanted to share with you the beauty God has placed my family and I in…all I have to do is walk outside and look.
As I walked around my camera was clicking away. After about a half hour I stopped to sit under the willow tree on our bench.
I couldn’t help but be in awe. The breeze was blowing my hair everywhere and I noticed the sky. I couldn’t help myself — I found my eyes “looking up.”
I began walking again, but this time my gaze was up. Here I was, in the middle of such peaceful beauty while just beyond the trees lie a world in such turmoil: some fighting for their lives while others fear for their lives. And others in exhaustion yet freely giving of themselves with no regard of their life, while some display sheer selfishness. And more have entered into the gates of eternity.
It was such a contrast. There I stood, looking up into that vast blue sky powerless yet awefilled with thankfulness that God is infinitely powerful.
All I could do was pray.
So today, in the midst of whatever you are walking through — enjoy His handiwork.

girl, you made me cry, i love nature and looking up at the sky and that is all we need, is to look to Him and he will take care of us and heal us. Now that it is spring and the river is flooded, i hear the frogs chirping and to know that God made all this, if people would only breath and look up!!!! He is waiting for us to just look up!!!!!! Keep on blogging, it helps us realize things we forget!!!
