Faith: It is Never to Late to Prep!

  • If I were to gather you all in a room, then ask you this question, “Does Scripture tell us we ought to walk by faith and not by sight?” I would most likely hear a hearty Amen! To some degree we, those who believe in Jesus Christ, walk accordingly to 2 Corinthians to some extent.
  • But I would also submit to our little gathering tis statement, “It is easier to follow or walk by faith when that road is easy on our end.” Once again I submit to you, this time, our responses would be a bit slowly to react due to the fact of our flesh and spirit colliding against one another and our intense reality check inwardly and outwardly.

When your faith is tested, how do you walk?

  • Is your walk the same or different? Do you see spiritual growth?
  • What does your sight see when testing services arise? Does your vision change? Do you see the waves? Do you see, believe, trust, and cling to your Anchor?
  • When your faith is tested, Is God still faithful? Is He still true? Or does God change?

I don’t know what you are going through today, but God does. This I do know, God is the same yesterday, TODAY, and forever (Heb. 13:8). Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God makes everything beautiful in His time, therefore, because He is unchangeable (Malachi 3:6) He is trustworthy, and that, my friends, increases our human weaknesses because in Christ we can!! It sets our soul’s faith on fire to fulfill His individual and corporate mission with power within us for we are empowered by Him! It gives us security–because God cannot violate Himself.

  • So, how is your faith? I didn’t ask you how was your faith, but how is your faith? Not yesterday, not last week, not last month, but right now! 2 Corinthians 5:7 “to walk by faith and not by sight.”
  • Sister, brother are you being tested? If so, what are you doing about it? Choose Christ! Choose to cling to Him, even if you don’t see, understand, or even hear Him right now! He is there, working His plan out in and for you, for your best good! Trust Him! (Prov. 3:5-6; Eph. 2:10-18)
  • What are you doing to prepare for your future? The testing(s) will come! Don’t wait until they arrive, prepare now!

If you are in need and would like someone to walk with you and carry your yoke in prayer, I will! I know what it is like to have your faith tested to levels unthinkable–where you think you’d crumble physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Message me, send a comment, or comment below–send your prayer request and I will pray with you and for you!

Silence: It Isn’t a Bad Word

Never question where God is.

  • Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
  • Hebrews 13:5 “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said,”I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
  • Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not;”

For some of you, your past makes you cringe when “silence” is present because silence was used as a weapon of choice in abuse.

Before we continue, let me tell you this. I am so sorry you have been treated this way and this has happened to you, but you must know something…THIS WAS WRONG! This wasn’t your fault, but the person’s choice of abuse in handling their life and people around them.

But KNOW THIS, whether you are male or female, God will never [NEVER] treat you this way!

Silence doesn’t have to be a bad word. You can, Christ in you, conquer the affects ‘silence’ has had in you from your past or present! In our family we like to say, “the buck stops here” meaning the ‘cycle’ stops with us. It will not, by God’s grace, continue on to the next generation.

  • God is unchangeable, therefore, what He says He is, He is.
  • What He says He will do, He does.
  • What He says He cannot, He will not.
  • God cannot lie or go against Himself. It is an impossiblity.

This may sound trite, but we seem to fail in rememberance that:

  • Men are not God, so therefore, we must not put men in the place of God.
  • God is not man, so therefore, we must not put God in the place of man.

The two shall never be equal. God is God. God is the Creator. Man is the creation. Man is created in the image of God, not created in the image of man. Man is the sinner, not God. We live in this fallen world, not God. Yet by God’s grace and powerful love, He desires a deep, intimate, one-on-one relationship with each of us.

You can trust and rely on God with your whole being! So, if you find your ‘teacher’ silent…know without a shadow of a doubt, God is right there with you…while you are taking your test!

  • Do well, my friend! Do well!
  • You will never regret the choice of God first above all…never!
