Soul Account: Are you Ready?  

This one verse alone could give the shivers of fear and rebuke down one’s spine because they know God isn’t first in their life; or it brings a comforting sigh of relief knowing that one day it will all be made right, because God sees. God knows.

• Which one are you?
• Are you preparing? Are you investing, shaping, inhaling, breathing, vibrating, mediating, giving, proclaiming, testifying in God? If so, praise the LORD, my friend! Keep that faith. Keep up a God-centered, Christ-focused heart, mind, and soul my brothers and sisters in Christ! I know you’d be the first to admit, but…”I’m not perfect!” that’s right, we aren’t, but you are willing and obedient–and God is pleased and SMILING when He sees you!

Let me ask the question again…Which one are you? Because if you are not the above my friend, why not? I ask seriously, why not?.

• There is nothing longer than eternity.
• Go ahead. Try it. Start counting, I dare you.
• You will never reach it….and that is where your soul’s destination will be for all eternity either one of two places: the lake of fire or Heaven.

If you do not know where your eternal state lies, you can have that assurance today! Please do not hestitate. Eternity is longer than the here and now. If you are reading on…I can only presume that you are a child of God, but I must ask the question once again.

• Which one are you?
• Are you preparing? If not, why not?
• What is hindering you?
• What is taking or has taken the place of God in your life?
• The need is just as great for YOU as it is for those who need Christ, and for those who are already walking in Christ…because that’s just it: We NEED Christ!
• Let me explain. You are a child of God. That is fabulous and I praise the Lord that you are. But being a lukewarm Christian is not fabulous nor is it something that is pleasing to God. Just read Revelations 3.
• There is something you will need to do to turn the tide off self and back onto Christ. To not walk in obedience, submission, willfulness, and love to/for the Father (God) is to live in rebellion (sin) against Him. You must:

1. Get on your knees before your Heavenly Father. Ask Him to forgive you.
2. Confess to the Lord those things you have allowed to enter in that have become more important than your walk with God,
3. Confess to the Lord those things you have allowed or even used as excuses to take you away from serving and worshiping your God,
4. Confess to the Lord those things you have placed above, loved, or desired more than loving your God,
5. Confess to the Lord those things you have allowed to enter in that have hindered your testimony, the cause of Christ, His name and reputation,
6. Plead with the Lord to create in you a clean heart and to renew a right spirit within you. To restore joy of your salvation (Psalm 51:10, 12; Isaiah 29:15-16),
7. Ask the Lord to forgive you for putting things or people (including self) over Himself. You will never regret His love, forgiveness, or restoration!

• You can start afresh today in your commitment to Christ.
• Choose whom you will serve TODAY to begin laying your treasures in Heaven rather than here on earth (Joshua 24:14-15; Matthew 6:19-21). Eternity is worth it all for Christ is worth it all!
