The Lord guides us through His Word; let us take heed and obey.
- We are to set our affections on things above (Colossians 3:2) and not set our affections in things of this world.
- Our heart will indicate where our treasure lays (Matthew 6:21). It is our personal meter of Christlikeness or worldliness regardless of who you are.
- It is not worth having all this world has to offer and not have Christ (Proverbs 15:16). It is not worth it now or later.
