To Know is to be Changed

So, we slept in about an hour this morning. It was wonderful to get that little extra sleep, but it also put me a bit behind from my morning routine.

After a quick breakfast, I was chatting with one of our children about the day, the things that needed to be accomplished, things I’d like to see accomplished, and so forth.

I had mentioned in passing that I would have my devotions (my time with God) after we’d accomplished school for the day.

Now to give you a heads up, she knows my daily “normal” time with the Lord is early in the morning before everyone begins to rise and shine for the new day.

Without a beat, she instantly said, “Mom, no, don’t wait. Go now and have time in the Word.”

To know the value, importance, and need of God and His Word first above all…that, THAT IS PRICELESS!

So, that is where I have been…sitting here with Jesus first before this late morning continues any further.

To know is to be changed.
