There are many situations that present themselves in this life that leave us in doubt or wonder, even scared to step forward, but in God’s gracious love, once again, He displays His love through His Word and shows us who He is; Light and Truth; always and forever leaving us knowing His truest intent and plan. There is no darkness, ill will, selfishness, or deceit in God himself, but rather light, truth, life, honest well-intention which is for our best. This also includes those times when we don’t understand His wise and loving plan, but it doesn’t change Him; His way is perfect because He is perfect! Truly, this is of great comfort.
Today, take time to delight in God.
- Thank Him for being Him, for being the Light that breaks through all darkness and the Truth in the midst of great confusion.
- Thank Him for His wise instructions to you…and take time to stop. Listen. As a human child we all go through the learning process of obedience, submission, and following instructions, but we forget it doesn’t stop there, it continues our whole life through in God’s eyes! If our obedience, submission, or instruction isn’t from and towards God, it is to and for someone (self included) or something else. We all submit, the question is to who or what? We be wise to evaluate?
God loves you.
- How much do you love God?
- Can God see or experience your love, your praise, your thanks, your devotion towards Himself?
- Does He know how much you love Him?
- If not, why not child of God?*
