Out of the Mouth of Babes: Don’t Underestimate Them.

This week, during a history lesson, one of my students looked at me and said, “Sin never brings freedom.”

I don’t know what spurred her on to tell me, but I was taken back by the power of conviction in her soul and understanding consequences do come from sin; that to choose sin brings forth nothing fruitful. Her voice was firm yet introspective.

Out of the mouths of babes, I thought, they surely bring wonderous moments at times, don’t they!?

To see biblical Truth come alive within a heart, soul and mind is priceless…no matter what age.

I had to share this nugget of truth that was shared to me this week. May we remember sin has its pleasure for a moment, but the end brings forth death (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25). God never lies; He knows it is not worth it — may we trust the One who knows. His warning is for our good.

Remember, His Word is Truth.
