How often do we thank the Lord for His correction or chastening hand in our life?
It be safe to say, not all that often, but it should be.
- Thank you Lord for not allowing me to continue on that path…
- Thank you Lord for stopping me from doing…
- Thank you Lord for preventing me from…
- Thank you for protecting me…
The list goes on my friends.
The loving, correcting hand of God brings joy not grief in our life.
Maybe, we should spend some time thinking about how God has delivered us, spared us, rescued us, saved us by creating a list of thanks for His inflicting pain that brought His binding relief; for through His wounds, His hands heal us.
